How CAN I HeLP
With your support we can share the vision of a living history project with students and children of every age. Our upcoming initiatives and efforts are crucial to the successful mission of the African Queen Project. We’ve come an incredible distance from the desert to where we are today. Help us with the next phase of our mission: SHARING WITH OTHERS
Current Priorities:
-
-
- Acquisition of a trailer and tow vehicle. ($55K)
- Restore Half-track ammunition trailer. ($2K)
- Replace 68 year-old Michelin combat tires. ($1K)
- Fabricate canvas cover to protect turret. ($2K)
-
We Need Your HELP to Meet our $60K Goal!
Can you help the team? Every dollar donated brings us closer to being able to bring a living history display of education, patriotism, history, and honor for our Veterans to your community.
Truck and Trailer Details:
Purchase a late model used Ford 450 or similar vehicle type and a new 30 ft. Gooseneck Trailer to safely move vehicles to and from schools and events. Why a used truck ? A late model lower mileage truck is an excellent trade off vs. new for several reasons, cost, depreciation etc. In addition, we have a skilled mechanic on the team able to conduct repairs and maintenance as needed.
